PCA Judging Manual?

Does PCA have a judging manual? We've all heard the bad stories about PCA judging. I've never even heard of a manual - let alone seen one.

Judging Manual

I assume you're talking about the Concours judging. The regulations are laid out in the PCRs ( Parade Competition Regulations) as to what is judged in which class. Though I do know they do have training for judges, I'm not aware of a specific manual at the national level.

The zone rep for Florida (pcazone12rep at gmail dot com) would probably know if there is a local judging guide that PCA uses in your region.

I'm just used to NCRS Corvette judging where everything is carefully spelled out. Every bolt head is referenced and listed. There are no subjective judgements.

The other difference - and it's huge - is that Corvettes are judged against a standard - not each other. The goal is factory original - not beating out another car. Very different.
