911S alternator replacement with 911SC alternator
Hi all.
Does anyone know, if the alternator for a 911SC fits a 77' 911S? The alternators for a 911SC are dirt cheap on ebay compared to alternators for the 911S. Thanks in advance, Jakob |

Have you checked into just having your current alternator rebuilt. I had the Marchal alternator on the '74 completely rebuilt for $150.

I found this chart very helpful when purchasing an alternator. You need to reference your fan housing part number and make sure what you choose will actually fit.
