Post 76 wide body 911 here tomorow.

I just got a 76 widebody turbo conversion done by stoddard, with a 2.7 liter turbocharged motor. It is going to be delivered tomorow. This guy has owned it since 77, I can't wait to get my hands on it. Now wife says I got to get rid of 70T.
I will be asking many questions on this turbo all winter long, can't wait.

You stinkin' lucky dog! I have always adored the turbo and the turbo-body.

I am so jealous make sure I don't see it. I'll key it from the headlights to the tail!

Just kidding!

Congratulations!

A turbo charged 2.7L? Has anything been done to the engine to make it more reliable?

There have been no major improvements to the motor. The turbo was installed in 78 by p/o.
He has owned it since then. I am going to rebuild the turbo this winter(leaking oil).

yes this is the one in Palm bay.

It showed up and it is exactly what I was looking for. it has a "BAE" turbo that I am trying to get infor on. Will keep you posted.

Definitely keep us posted! I'm one of the many that drool over the turbo body style with or without turbo engine. A turbo is always better, but I drive what I can afford. Yes, one day, I will have one too.
