A buddy of mine is parting with his 92 C2 because he's building a house. (Say it ain't so, Rick!) It's a Southern California car, and has been meticulously maintained. It's in excellent condition, and is really gorgeous. Details are below. Any thoughts on what it's worth?
MILES: 63,000 MODEL: C-2, Coupe w/sunroof SPEC: 5 speed manual COLOR: White WHEELS: Chrome (1992 style Porsche) with colored Porsche inserts TIRES: Dunlop Sports front (P205/55z R16) rear (225.50z R16). Tires have less than 10k on them (never on track). INTERIOR: Tan with black carpets with Porsche emblem, power windows and locks, leather seats with electric adjust, A/C (recently charged), cruise control and onboard computer. Kenwood AM/FM single CD player, with 4 speakers. MISC: Complete with PORSCHE TOOL KIT, and bra (not used). COMMENTS: Complete 60k service completed at 57k. Oil is Mobil One. Oil consumption is less than 1 quart per 1000 miles. Always garaged, and never put on track.

Only if he can take over as the premier doctor in the SCWDP!! Actually, he's getting out of the Porsche racket for awhile while he builds a house. My guess is he'll be back. You can take the boy out of the Porsche, but you can't take the Porsche out of the boy.

Scott,
Sorry I can't be of much help on a car that new. There should be lots on the market in SoCal, so just try to place your friends car in the range. It sounds like a well kept, low miles car, so that's a positive. If all the warranty stuff that everyone frets over about 964s has been done, well that would be good as well. White is not a great resale color, but if it is super clean and really polished up well when people see it, it should show really well. Good luck, sounds like you are losing a car friend... ![]()

My friend is losing a car, but he'll always be my friend (I hope).

Scottb, if your looking for a price he should ask let me help. I thinks its worth about 9,545.00 Can you ask him where I can send the check?
From what I see in So Cal they are around 25-30k depending on condition and mileage. To get the price he should ask go to www.kbb.com and go from there Good Luck
