For those of you who are interested in early 911 racing, feel free to visit my site. Things are still under construction, so any suggestions would be great. I will be adding a classified section(Because when there are four of us with 911 racecars we have tons of parts for sale). There will be pictures with comments on a complete teardown and rebuild into a racecar (including a full cost sheet...I hate looking at it :) ) Save it to your favorites and refresh often. Many pictures and stats. Let me know what you think. www.plavanracing.com

The more time I spend on this site - the more I want a pre 74 911.
Nice website Chad.

Hey Chadler, nice to see you here. The car looked great at Buttonwillow, by the way.

You website doesn't have an e-mail address for you. Please shoot me one at eojr@earthlink.net.

Cool! What kind of blue is the blue 911?

It looks like this BBS now has about half of the west coast VERA field (and most of the 911 runners) on this BBS. We're not hurting for technical know-how!

:D

Porsche royal blue

This was a color used in the early 70's and 80's. it was a special order paint.

Chad,

You obviously have your auto-priorities right!

I've got a vintage Porsche site up as well that you may feel free to plagarize ;)

Looks like that was a helluva project there, I really like the interior shots and may have to add some to my site one of these days. It really gives a feel for how much work goes into keepinf the old cars in racing condition!

Cheers,

Plavan;
Was it "Adriatic Blue"??? I'm thinking of repainting my car "Adriatic Blue" when I rebuild it in a similar style to yours. I was curious if this is how it would look.

BTW - What sort of motors are your running?

Thats me

Yep, I sold the Boxster. I was going to buy a 996 but then saw the pictures of the 997 coming out with flared fenders (993 style) Thats what I want. I bought the RS clone for some fun in the mean time. I'll probably get it perfect then sell it to someone and get another project.
