Currently my carbs have little weird setup when comparing to my engine. The jets and such are for 2 liter engine and mine has 2.4T.
The venturi is 27mm but as I have heard it should be 30mm. Is it ok if I use lathe to drill the part bigger without changing the jets yet? |

Hi,
I do not know about milling them, but if you do you will want to maintain the venturi effect, so I'd imagine you'll have to re-engineer the whole venturi so it has the proper shape. If you are looking for a set to buy, I have a set of (6) 30mm venturis that I'd sell for a reasonable price. How about $12 each plus shipping? I have a 3.0 SC engine that I am assembling and I had to get 34mm venturis to fit it. The 30mm ones are of no use to me now, and I'd just like to recoup some of the cost of the 34s. You could probably sell your 27s as well... Let me know if you're interested (csprigg@hotmail.com). Thanks, Charlie PS. Not sure what jets you need, but I have a set of 135s that I'd sell for $18 or trade even for a set of 155 or 160s. [This message has been edited by cds72911 (edited 09-18-2001).] |

Well, I guess I gotta try selling these first. Currently I have size 145 jets and I need 155. Thanks for the offer though
