1985 911 side vent not working... ?

Hi guys.

I recently had my heating system repaired. The whole thing was not working at all. The repair shop were able to rebuild as new (I have the auto heat with no levers on the floor). So now, everything works very well except I don't feel any air coming out of the passenger side vent... Any idea ?

Perhaps the footwell blower is not working on that side?

Well, I do have air coming on the passenger's feet area...

Can you hear the footwell blower motor? Maybe a duct hose was knocked off that side.

Um... not sure. I'll check next time.

If you mean the side dash vent, check to insure the vent hose is coming out of the foot blower and into the duct. Check also if the AC and fresh is pumping air thru it as well.

Yes, all three modes come out of that side vent.

I had the same problem. Jack the car up, remove the rear driver's side wheel, and verify the hose is attached between the heat exchanger and the flapper.

I had a similar problem on my SC (not sure if the set up is the same) the hose had come loose inside the front hood.

I'll check this as soon as I can.
