Guage Bezels
Has anyone here replaced there guage bezels?
I dont think it would be to difficult and it seems to add a nice little breakup of the all black interior. This is a image of a 87 with the bezels replaced.... Input, opinions? Difficulty? ![]()

I agree the alum look breaks up the blackness.
I removed my bezels to clean inside the glass. The paint was chipping so I sanded off the black paint and polished the alum.. Looks good IMO. Just need to lightly oil to stop them from rusting up in the humidity and dampness of a cab. I think I'll buy some alum bezels if I can find ones to fit my car. I seem to remember some time ago looking for them and not being able to find them for <89 models ie 964 onwards (but I could be wrong). Cheers Mark

The all black interior is serious and sinister. Why not tell Johnny Cash to wear a white belt for "just a splash of color".
![]() Jet fokkin' black, baby. It's cool the way it is.

I agree with Moses. Plus, to R&R the gauge bezels (correctly) is a time consuming PITA!
