Rotary locking knobs with Appbiz door panels
I recently bought a lightly used Appbiz RS door panel kit, I received it and it looks great except this big hole near the centre top. Upon some searching I find it is for the rotary locking knob which is not on my car. My car is a 1975 carrera. It has manual locks. If I were to find some second hand rotary locking knobs would they be able to be hooked up to work on my doors? It would be nice to fill in that hole. Maybe I should try to resell them for some new panels without the giant holes in them. Thoughts?
Thanks! |

Seems like it would be a lot easier to either get door panels without the hole or re-cover your current panels than retrofit the round door lock knobs. Fwiw I have an 87 and deleted the round knobs when putting in the rs panels for a cleaner look.

The cards themselves are covered with all kinds of holes. Some get used and some don't depending on what way you want to go. If your leather is stout enough you can't even see them. I used a couple layers of cloth backer just to make sure. Here are my suede RSR driver's door.
