how to evaluate window lifters?
 

I recently set out to repair the passenger side windows. The motor ate itself alive, and I found it dangling in pieces from the housing. The question I have is if anyone can tell me if the passenger side lifter looks ok? I would rather not replace it because as I understand you have to drill a new hole in the firewall. Additionally, a penny saved etc. From the image I posted how does this lifter look? I have include both the front and back, it seems to move nicely when I manually manipulate it, but I am very green as a gear head.
