Dirty Penny and Hans Niederer

Forget those signal colors....I had a chance this past weekend to spend some quality time with the 1967 Hans Niederer 911 and took a few pictures with the Dirty Penny. A nice contrast between the two. Great car in a color almost as nice as Copper Brown. Earth tones rule...

Minilites

Yes, the Minilites are new. I ordered them a few months ago. The fronts are 15x7 and the rears are 15x9. The larger rear wheels work better with the 235's. We changed the rear camber and the car is awesome on the track. Next will probably be some bigger sway bars.

Thanks, Brodie. I think I was having them mounted at Ernie's the day you and I met. When are you getting your car back out on the track? Homestead?

The two cars are just beautiful...I really like the minilites.

They look very track worthy, but don't appear to be abused?

skippy likes

you guys are north of where my folks are visiting my aunt and uncle in north palm beach.

any chance you might buzz over the bridge at the start of the intercoastal this week? the guest room my folks are in is only 21 floors above that bridge. a couple of early flat sixes at 6am would surely wake the old man up from his slumber. maybe pull out the baffles in those straight pipes

they will be in jupiter wednesday to go to some spring training game...rays and cardinals i think.

Where did you get the Minilites and what are the offsets? Price? I want a set of rear 16x9's or are only 15x9's available?

I like the name. I have a penny from 1983 that I found under the windshield seal of my 1984 Targa. Someone else on the forum found a beer bottle cap under their paint.

1/4 mile

Good question...I haven't run the 911 up the drag strip yet. We all know how well the 915 works for speed shifting!
