Where is No 39 located ?

My rear red lights on both sides of the centre porsche reflector are alway's on when the car is running. I think they are the brake lights because my brother who was driving behind me on the weekend alerted me to the fact that I have no brake lights.

I have to sort this out cause its not safe !

Pull up the drivers side wooden floorboard. It is actuated directly by the brake pedal. It's the little switch with the dogleg arm coming out of it. You can adjust things so it will work properly. Remember to have the key on to verify, since the brake lights only work with the key on.

Assuming that you don't have power-boosted brakes ... it is mounted on the pedal cluster. You have to move carpet and plywood board to get at it.
