OT: Two unusual cars (not Porsches) FREE for the taking...

Sorry for the off-topic thread, but I have to use all avenues available to me. (At least it's a car topic.)

Okay, I have two rather unusual cars to give away:

1969 Austin America
Derivative of the Mini. Same running gear but the car is a little larger.

1981 Lancia Beta Coupe
Italian 2+2 with 2.0L DOHC engine.

They are both complete and ran (to some degree) when parked. They are in Raleigh, NC. If you're interested, please email me at dlb @ zebra.net (without the spaces, of course) for more details.

Thanks,
-zuff

Maybe a good base for an Italian R-Gruppo!

Now cegerer, why'd you have to go and post a pic like that? Seeing that Beta on the truck and the two Stratos race cars makes me want to keep the Beta!

Okay, the response I've received has far exceeded my expectations. (I expected "Austin who?", "Beta what?") So I'll be posting details and photos sometime tomorrow after I have a chance to look at the cars closely. I know what condition they were in when parked, but they've been in my yard for over three years and I honestly haven't looked at them in that long.

Thumbs up

HELLO, I'm in Cary and very interested in either car, especially the Lancia. If we can work something out I can pick up the car(s) this week.

Please get back to me as soon as possible.
Ahmet

PS: You've got mail!
