Targa Glass Part ID

Hi. Need help with the left and right trim at the base of the rear glass where it meets the weatherstripping. There's also a matching seal...

Thanks.

Really need help on this because the PET catalog shows rear quarter panel moldings but I think they're for a coupe, not a Targa...

Thanks!

On a lark I looked because I've been think of doing the rear window seals, but I came up a little confused.

I checked PET for a later MY (89) and found 91156504940 (left side), and 91156505040 (R).
Pelican says it will cover 1974 to 89, but was superseded by 9645595954170K (and 9645595964170K for the right side) however, a couple of different prices are shown for the same new part.

Might be best to call them.

964-559-595-41-70K-OEM

964-559-596-41-70K-OEM

Superseded from original per Pelican:

911 565 049 40

911 565 050 40

See pdf page 394. It's in the "Decorative Fittings" sub-section of Main Group 8 - Body

Looks like Pelican may have Porsche and aftermarket replacements. I think metal is brass on the originals.

Good point - I assumed they were aftermarket - the cheaper ones.

Thanks everyone! Yes, I'm pretty sure they are brass. Paint shop trying to decide whether to refinish or just purchase new ones. Not easy replicating an anodized finish with paint...

@ Bob - Yeah, I don't know what the OEM ones cost, unless I read the price list incorrectly - which is probably what I did.
One was 117, another slightly higher, and the new part is abt 215.
