checking oil and idling
We will chalk this up to my ignorance of the finer working of SC's but I have a question;
Why would the idle become lumpy when I remove the oil cap to check the oil level and smooth right out when the cap is replaced?

The opened oil breather hose changes the intake pressure, by bypassing the airflow plate.
It attaches from the filler neck to between the air flow plate and the throttle body. This means it will go lean.
