Can anyone tell me the process involved in adjusting the idle on a 3.3l?

just find the slotted screw that turns in the engine compartment somewhere and turn it.
Turning clockwise reduces idle, turning counter-clockwise increases idle. |

i assume the speed is what you want to adjust. the throttle housing is buried under the bypass housing and intercooler, in the center. a big slot screw with a spring on it sticks out of the left side of the housing. if you line up your eyeball just below the left engine lid hinge, and use a flashlight, you can just barely see the screw. a long slot screwdriver is slipped in along that sightline to turn the screw. it has to be just the right length. counterclockwise speeds it up, and VV.
