Easy Eng. question, headlights
Ok, just went to change my headlight bulbs in the 911 and the previous owner has allowed the screws to rust, thus the're just spining. If i drill these out is there anything to damage behind there, or am i missing an easy solution?

The headlamp assembly is held in place by a tab on the top (at 12:00), and a screw into a metal tab on the bottom (at 6:00).
If this bottom screw is just spinning, you should try some outward pressure at the bottom (fingers, or something soft against the paint, right?) while you turn the screw ccw. Hopefully that will get it out. If you break the bottom tab, you will have a bigger task ahead than just the stripped hole. You may need to replace the attaching sscrew with a larger size at any rate. Write in again when you have it off, and can see what's there. Good luck... ![]()
