Post Curious about Kiln

Saw an 84 advertised as "Kiln" color with Tan interior. What is "Kiln"? Sounds reminiscent of "Sepia" - brown.

Just Curious

Tim: If the car you were looking at was in Rolling Hills Estates, California, I bought it!!

Kiln is something of a brick red. It's not the classic Guards Red, and it's not bright orange. The name is very descriptive -- it looks like the bricks in a kiln. It's a great color on a great car!

Regards.

Scott
