hi robert,
its on my to do list. if theres nothing wrong with the rack why change? in that case i would just fit the new ends and ditch the rack. i don't know if i turbo rack fits anyhow??

I've heard its very rare that the 911 steering racks wear out. Maybe if your car has very high mileage it would be worth replacing, otherwise I wouldn't bother.
Any looseness in the steering is probably due to the tie rods & ball joints. Replacing these when they're worn makes a huge difference, although I can't speak for doing the tie rod ends only. Andrew |
