Help me put some graphics on my race car

OK guys, Here's a call out for help to the non-graphically/artistically challenged. I want to put some graphics on my car and need suggestions.

The pics show the car on a previous configuration, the duck tail and RS front are gone replaced with 911R type pieces.

Thanks much, Juan

Obviously, this calls for a large "V-Tech" sticker. Think of the horsepower!

Personally, I'd leave it alone. I like the simplicity.

Me too! '69 was before all of the big sponsorships got involved in racing. A pretty narrowbody like this looks best with a clean and simple scheme. No reason to clutter it up with flames, slashes, swooshes and other stuff.

It looks sweeeet!!!

You need to post some more recent pictures!

Hi Ted,

The car will still be in "in process" stage then, I'm planning to come in on my 69 "S". How can I tell you from the others that will be there?

juan ruiz 10-11-2002 08:27 AM

Guys Can I come?:( I never been in one of those events

ErVikingo 10-11-2002 09:00 AM

Juan,

I don't see why not. The event is sponsored by the Gold Coast Region and I guess that in order to participate you must be a member however, the PCA is always glad to receive new members and referals. Being a member of PCA is great, excellent magazine, good deals from shops, good events and a lot of people with your same interest to talk to.

Also: Markham is a public place (just $1 to get in per car). The mailing to the members asks that you bring a picnic friendly dish to share with the group.

Juan

FlaCarrera 10-11-2002 01:59 PM

Juan R.,
I just sent you a PM w/my phone #. . Absolutely come on out! In fact any So. Fla Pelicans are more than welcome. There will be a blood mobile, RC AutoX, Concours, videos, and general socializing. Pls bring a picnic potluck dish. Beverages supplied by Gold Coast Region. $1 admission to Markham Park.

Cheers

Hey Juan,

Nice car! Since you've basically got the color nailed already, how about a replica of the 73 Sebring winner! -- Curt

Gimme an "R!" What's that spell! "R!"

If you have an open flat rear lid and a R valence there is ony one aesthetically correct answer: the PORSCHE logo across the bottom of the doors, and your numbers, perhaps a couple "Shell" logos square on the rear quarters, "Bosch" on the fronts, etc.

Gt-racing sells the 911R style logos. They are NOT the same as the original R's however.
