Happy Engine Drop

Dropped by engine today! Very satisfying! Had a great time doing it with my 16 year old son. I have read people saying, that after you do it, you will want to drop it for every little project--I can totally understand that comment now.

Anyway, the plan is to get transmission fixed (see picture of metal in transmission oil). While it is out, I plan on checking the cam timing since I am having trouble tuning the engine after a 3.4L rebuild. I am also considering replacing the current GT2 cams in there now with something more common like 20/21s or 964 cams.

FYI, all my previous posts had "Crappy" in the title. I started this one with "Happy" because I am thankful to have an opportunity to own a Porsche.

Congrats fellow Guards Red Targa guy! The obligatory drop pic is great with dual heads.
