so my 1978/81 Franken-Porsche has finally had some tlc.. unfortunately the problem has been resolved to a gas tank issue. So I need a new tank, and yes I did try cleaning it, itd be cheaper to buy a 100L fuel cell.
Anyway, I have the threaded return line, I know the tasker, tansker, one has the threaded return line, but after talking to a couple people the Dansk tank is better quality, but doesn't have the internal strainer (I'm assuming thats the giant plastic thing). I don't know if that tank has the threaded adapter or the slip connector... any help? anyone have a 100L fuel cell they wanna sell for super cheap? haha ![]() Thanks George |

George, beware of supposedly "Dansk" tanks that do not have the centre pot, large baffle nor metric drain plug thread.

Johan, I'm looking at 930-201-010-02-M350 through pelican parts, how would I know if this tank has it? is there a place you would recomend for a new tank? short of shelling out the 2k+ for a fuel cell

George, better call or live chat with PP directly. I find Glen quite helpful.
Maybe some fellow Pelican who has bought one can chime in. If you are not satisfied then then you may want to consider a used one and refurbish it- that is the route that I took. There is a good thread in the paint and bodywork forum on this. Start with a used OEM tank that is not rusty inside. Johan
