My 84 factory wide body on 16s
Looks like your twin but in a cab!

Factory specs for my 84 M491 calls for
9" rim with 205/55 16 - front (currently I'm running stock)
10" rim with 225/50 16 - rear (currently running 245/50 16)

Currently my rears (245/50) are to fat in my opinion and I plan to return to stock 225/50.

What size tires are you guys using?

I have 220/50/16, and 235/45/16s on bbs wheels.

The tires look small, and don't seem to fill the wheel wells as much as I want. In the pics, your tires look taller in diameter.

Are they larger, or am I imagining it?

I would have thought the 225s would look stretched on the 8s but they look good. can you measure the tread width on those bridgestones when you get a chance?

Heres mine. These were 245/50 now i have 265/50 on it they are a little fatter but nla on 7s and 8s O.Z. wheels

the wheel is really closer to a 7.5" since I have them built as a face mount. These Bridgestones might be a little wide though as I have 225s on another car with 8" wheels that do look more stretched. As you can see I'm rubbing slightly with my narrow '77 flares.

225/50 is the standard size for 8x16s...

(Bridgestone RE050A)

The wheel diameter with the 265/50 is more than 1.5" larger. Looks a bit weird TBH...

Mesh wheels look so good...fuchs also look great.

For clarity, the picture in my original post is not mine, just pulled it from google to get things started.

Here's mine...15" fuchs which im looking to switch to 16s.
