Heel Plate carpet

Anyone knows what is the Heel Plate Carpet (PET Part No. 911 551 051 04)? Where is it installed? I imagine it will sit under the heel position in front of the pedals. It came with my car in the trunk and it has signs of glue in the back. To install it do I need to remove the console to place it under it? Please see photo and notice that the plastic trim does not go all around.

Thanks in advance!

That piece is for the rear. The soft arc should straddle the hump between the rear seats and the rectangle should straddle the tunnel.

Coverage would be the vertical portion from the floor to the seat bottom.

Thanks! In that case my car already has it and this is extra, which I may make it available if someone needs it.

Is it RS style carpet or factory? I'm actually installing carpet in my car and having trouble with with the piece supplied in the kit. Mine doesn't look anything like that and might be interested in yours if they are of similar materials.

^^^ Think jigsaw puzzle. The RS carpet makes no sense until it is all in. Some parts are on top, others are underneath parts next to it. Dry fit the entire car before you glue anything. The transition from rear foot well to side rockers is a bear.

It's worse than a puzzle, looks like I have to cut a notch on the bottom piece for the tunnel, realized last night that I have it upside down in my photo... The section as supplied cannot go around the tunnel like the factory piece in the op's photo.
