Tire black stained/hazed Fuchs?
Lady backed into my fender and put a dent in it. No big deal - took it to her Geico authorized repair facility and they detailed the car using some kind of tire black silicone. Car sat in the rain (strike me dead, it's true) and when it dried the anodized part of the rims were all hazed up or stained. I tried washing it out with mild soap but nothing doing.
Anyone come across this before? Kind of pissed off - they did a good job on the repair, but I think they've trashed my rims. Vasoline? Scotch brite? Attorney-at-law? |

Try using a Magic Eraser on the wheels to remove the black stuff. Vaseline them after the anodized portion is clean.
