SSource for split ferrules for brake retaining pins

Hello all,
I'm trying to find a source to purchase the split ferrules used on the ends of the brake pad retainer pins for Carrera calipers. Anyone have a suggestion where to look?

Our host sells replacment retainer kits but I can't find just the ferrules. Also searched McMaster Carr with no luck. I'd like to keep a few of these on hand as mine are getting pretty tired and I am afraid I'll lose one trying to switch out pads at the track in a hurry. :)

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, no DIY'ers out there with an idea? Maybe I am searching the wrong term, but split ferrule seems to fit. Again, thanks.

Can you post a picture of the part? I might have them in a bag of break parts

I have a few if you are desperate.

Thanks Cabmando,
They are the little black bushing-looking thing at the end of the retainer pins in this photo from the retainer kits.

djpateman - Thanks for the offer. Im not desperate, just looking for the parts so I can replace a couple that are in rough shape, and then like you, have a few around for that time that I loose or break another. Cheers.

Yeah, thats probably what I'll end up doing, but what's the harm in trying? The pins and spring retainer are durable items.

Sorry! I forgot all about this thread. I think I have those if you still need them. Let me know and I'll check.
