OT: Racing, NA$CAR & Death
I stumbled upon several articles regarding the most recent NASCAR/ARCA racing death. I don't follow NASCAR but found it quite interesting that these NASCAR writers had such a cynical (and probably accurate) view of what they call 'NA$CAR'. They really don't pull any punches. One guy even takes on the "goobers" with the #3 & #8 stickers in their truck windows!:

I live in Concord NC which is where Lowes Motor Speedway is. As I type the population of this small town is quadrupling in size and by 11am you will be unable to go anywhere except your front yard. I live about 10 minutes from the track.
We usually leave town when NastyCar comes this time I waited to long to make reservations anywhere. There was a death at the track on Thursday (arca driver) and it has been the headlines in the local papers and news cast since. NastyCar is the second religion around here. Heeeelllllppppppppppp

Anyone care to explain what the difference is between Nascar and the rest of racing...like le mans or the racing where we see the GT3 cars and things like that? hahaha I know this is ludicrious, but I basically avoid auto racing...
Like, which cars go faster and what are the limitations/rules?
