I Have rejoined the fold- '71 twin plugged 2.7 targa
Just signed on my new ride- one which I have been trying to secure for the past month or so! :)
I will try and post some pics tomorrow after I have done the paperwork and organise insurance and given her a quick once round the block!. She is not standard as she has a modern 80's style interior and performance upgrades, the main one a 2.7 twin plugged engine with 10:1 compression. I am told it came from a 914 which was raced locally poss. by 'Alan Alacey' if anyone has heard of him? Anyhow the pics will invoke a lot more interest and questions/answers so I will sign off- just wanted to post as so excited!!!! :D |
Congratulations. Time to change the user name. :)

Thanks guys, now how can I turbo this beastie!!! :D.
Actually is she fine running on premium unleaded (93) or should I put in an addative? I have also realised that the tax collector and tag agencies are closed weekends so I may just have to clean the car and polish those fuchs! :) I am trying to get an insurance quote from Leland West as they seem the best option!. Hope to paste soe pics by the end of the day. Any suggestion as for my new user name? rgds Ben |
