Clutch release (I have searched a ton)
Hi All -
I know this must be out there in the archives - I must be searching wrong or missing the fix. I want to adjust the release point of my clutch pedal. It is a bit to close to the floor for my liking. I see a great deal written about the helper spring tolerances on the 915 tranny. Is this where the release point is adjusted as well? Sorry to beat a dead horse - thanks for any help. -Scott S

You adjust the take-up at the cable where it attaches to the gearbox. Loosen both jam nuts on the cable. Small adjustments are all that is needed.

There is an adjustable clutch pedal travel distance STOP on the floor board. If the pedal travels downward to far the omega helper spring will depart the premises.
