steering wheel question
can someone tell me what year Porsche this steering wheel is from? it was in the bonnet of a 1976 912e I purchased 25 years ago. (since sold) I'm going to list it in classified section if someone wants to make an offer...

I seem to remember I had that wheel on my '87 Cabriolet 911. I think it was used in the latter half of the '80s until the airbag wheels came along.

Find a 911 xxx part number on it and type it in the upper left box on this page (Enter Description) to see for which years it is correct.

It fits an 1984-1989 Carrera......also fits a 89 non airbag 964, but the part number for the 964 is different...the wheel is the same however.

Measure the diameter, if it is 370mm, it was also used in the '92 RS.
Check the hub. If it is the extended hub option, it's worth more. |

The "VERL" in your part number is short for "Verlängerung" which means Extension. George is right, wheels with the extended hub option cost a lot more than the regular nones…
Cheers, Guido
