86 3.2 to early 70's outlaw

Hi guys, noticed that a few have posted photos of projects they are doing, so thought I'd put mine up as well and hopefully get some advice along the way.

My car is an 86 3.2 Euro Spec from Japan that is going to be backdated by a company in Sydney (Australia) called Zag Automotive - fairly low key operation, but have done some great work over the years, and if you check their website will no doubt recognise some of their ST replicas they have done, as they have shown up in a number of threads on this site.

This is my first Porsche and having been infatuated with the Singer models, was glad to come across this whole sub culture I didn't even realised existed, and find out that there are other options available if you aren't Jay Leno.

The idea is to build a very simple 911 inspired by the Singer Nebraska car, but without the wider guards. My guy John Zaghoul pointed out that the Carrera body is virtually the same as the RS, so I think that setup without the ducktail, and wider tyre/wheel should make it look aggressive, without going too over the top.

I was concerned about not being period correct for awhile, but after reading through the Forum's realised this is not really an issue, and as usual, am building for what I want.

It will take around 4-5 months, so will post photos as I get them, and not likely to start until end Jan as he's flat chat, but thought I'd start with photos of the donor, and at least I can get some advice regarding the wheels and tires initially.

looking on some of the threads, 7 and 9 x 16 seems to be the popular setup or 8 and 9 - John was suggesting we could run 8's all round and just do a narrower front tire to the rear to achieve a more aggressive look - has anyone done this, and do you have any photos?

Thanks
