Seat removal '73 911T Targa
Removed front two hex head bolts but can't slide seat far enough forward to expose rear bolts because of "stop piece" in slider track. What's the trick to get past this so called "safety stop"?

Put the front ones back in, slide the seat forward, remove rear ones first, then slide back to get the fronts. Don't ask me why........but that's what I had to do on my 79SC.

Thanks pete3799, tried that but the safety stop in track prevents total forward, I read somewhere this "stop" was a safety inclusion for '73. Sorry, not familiar how to insert a photo here.
