i purchased a 1983 911sc with this engine.
Is it factory or replaces. What does above number tell you.

63D0001-on, was fitted to RoW 911SC Coupe/Targa/Cab produced between Aug 82 - Jul 83

Is original to the car.

Engine type 930/10
9.8:1 Compression ratio
204 HP @ 5900 Rpm (24hp more than the US version)
189 f-p Torque @ 4300 Rpm
