The Lift Superstore - anyone have experience with them?

I've been researching lifts for a while now. I came across The Lift Superstore and liked what I read. I spoke with them and like what I heard.
Next step - check out references and experiences. So, anyone out there have any experience with the company and/or their products?
Thanks,
Wayne

Got a scissor lift from them when they were operating in Canada only.

As stated on their website, the pump, motor cable and hydraulic are from North America. On mine the motor is a Baldor and the Pump is from Monarch. Their warranty is double of the Bendpack one.

2 years ont part, 5 on structure and lifetime on cylinder.

The Lift Superstore Difference - We Make Car Lift Buying Easy!

I was able to negotiated a delivery price that included a truck with a lift plate.

Thanks JJ!
Interestingly, I had read your post during my research - but did not connect it with the Lift Superstore. Glad to hear that you had a positive experience.

it's probably just a personal thing with me but i tend to shy away from companies that sell products but fail to post their prices on their websites. no need for the cloak and dagger approach, just tell me what your price is so i can compare it.

That is one &^*%)# thing that a lot of Canadian company do.

When I bought mine, it was in their Promotion Tab so I had the price to compare. Right now under promotion is all 3 pieces combo for garage Promotions on Car Lifts and Equipment

Me too. It annoys the hell out of me. Isn't that the whole idea of the internet - right now, up to date prices and details.

I never make a price enquiry, why should I wait half a day in the hope that some tosser bothers to reply.

Totally understand what you guys are saying and I "mostly" agree.
Turns out that my call to the Lift Superstore was totally worthwhile! Got to spend 15-20 minutes with a really knowledgeable guy who answered all my questions and add a few extra points that I did not think about.
YMMV

If your talking about the store they have in Oakville then I've had good experience with them I have a lift made in the us but uses a baldor motor and monarch pump
One of my cables broke so I thought I would give them a try passed by there and one of the sales guys was very good. They had a stock of cables there that matched mine and paid cash for one
Very good experience with them

Thanks for the feedback!
The guy I spoke to was in Oakville. I plan on visiting their Florida store when I'm in the area - unless I buy the lift first ;-)

They don't include shipping in their price - so I'm waiting to hear back for an all-in price.

At the end of the day...

You are going to have to decide "which one" delivered at your door that is worth to you.

I could have pick up one in NY, a hour away drive, from HF for half the price. Read many many thread and decided to go with them.

While, price wise, Bendpack was not really competitive in Canada they might be in the US.

Truth be told, Bendpack is no longer made in the US and their part are not from here either. Sure you can live on old reputation and old on to dream but...

Then again, I never heard of anybody that die while working under a HF version.

Pitch over

As far as I can tell there are very few lifts made in North America and those that are are priced accordingly. Yes Bendpak has a great reputation and I think one pays for that reputation.
I'm not keen on generic lifts like the ones at HF and such - I spoke to one local guy who told me straight out he private labels his lifts and that most lifts out there are the same generic lift.
My concern would be getting parts, if necessary, and quality control. A friend imports products from china and it's usually good quality - but sometimes it is not and he has to reject the container - he's honest and won't sell it.
What I like about the Lift Superstore is that I'm speaking to the principals of the company - that doesn't mean that the product is good, but I like the direct contact. In addition, their haydrolic pump, cables and hydrolics cylendar are all made in North America and I like that.
Nuff said for now, my finger is wearing out 😉

Purchase a lift from The Lift Superstore - 8K four post - just shy of $2500 plus delivery. I expect to have it in a few weeks. Can't wait.

I ordered the MaxJax from Costco (unfortunately the only lift they carry)
discounted, from list price and included free delivery with a liftgate truck.
The guy even dragged it up the driveway on a pallet jack, to the garage.
