Orange Bar Crest Restoration???

Been searching but haven't seen anything on the restoration, if possible, of the face the enamel bars? I've seen photos of some that look like attempts at it, but look like just that! Plenty stuff on how to repair the pins but not the enamel. Suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

I sent my original 1973 hood crest to Haywood Enamels in Australia two years ago. Sadly, Mr. Haywood passed away shortly after completing my crest's restoration.
Its beautiful.
