Service Manual

I plan to start doing work on my "new to me" 1984 911 Targa. Can anyone shed some light on what the best manuals are for working in the garage? I am looking for everything from tuning to rebuilding.

Thanks all!

The Bently manual for your car and 101 Projects For Your 911 are together a great combo. Both are available from Pelican Parts or easy to find on eBay too. Good luck with her!

+1 on this. If you get deep into the engine, the factory manuals, factory spec book, and Wayne's engine rebuilding book are indispensable, but for everything else tkmoore's recommendations (along with this forum!) will stand you in good stead.
