RSR Style Fuel Pump Consoles

Unfortunately I have had a really poor year with some lingering health issues which are finally resolved.

being unwell has meant my focus and concentration were affected and I haven't been logging on to the site but I have carried on with some of the new projects that we had planned.

We finally finished a new 'Hot Rod' which involved fitting a Carrera 3 motor in 912 along with a 915 transmission.

It had some custom driveshafts and Steel LWB Trailing Arms shortened to suit the SWB shell and a custom sway bar.

The engine was fitted with Zenith 40TIN carbs which we rebuilt and modified. (not Solexes as stated in the review)

It pulls well from idle and runs up to 7000rpm.

We made all of the glassfibre panels in house and also the carpet set, headliner and the 911R Style Roll cage in the correct 40 x 2mm tube.

Retro 911 meets retro wannabe 991 - PistonHeads

We have also noticed that there are a few 'RSR' Style MFI Fuel Pump Bracing Kits available but the RSR Fuel Pump Console with the rubber isolation seems hard to find.

We have made a pattern for this console and we have just had a small batch of sand castings made.

They have been cast in AZ91 magnesium Alloy (Elektron) and we have also had a new rubber bush moulded in an 80 Shore A NBR Rubber.

We made an initial casting in Aluminium to make sure that the size was correct and we finished this along with the brace kit a few weeks ago.
