What did you use to support your engine?

I'm nearly ready to drop my engine onto a dolly to roll under the car. I have a good size 4 wheel dolly, but I'm thinking I need to support the engine from the case and not the headers. What did you use? By the way, the engine is going in a teener.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1417911541.jpg

This is gonna be a hard one. I use my handy dandy high rise floor jack I got from our host. However, your stand configuration precludes direct transfer because the horizontal leg is in the way. You'll need to remove the muffler anyway, so do that, use a chain fall to lift it off the stand, bolt the tranny in place, and lift that puppy into the car with a jack.

I just dropped my engine onto my exchangers. Which quickly crumbled. Was kind of funny actually That looks pretty good ... Crunch .... Guess not.

Platform I used on top of my dolly. Fit like a glove with no crushing of air injection lines, no undue stress on bolts and no rocking back and forth and still easy to move around.

I used a craftsman ATV jack and some wood blocks.
