**** New SCWDP Apparel ****
I have some new SCWDP T's available.
What's new are Mock Turtleneck Long Sleeve shirts and T's for Kids. The long sleeve shirts are very heavyweight (7.1 oz vs. 6.1 oz for the Beffy T's) with the same logo front and back in sizes XXL to Med. They are really quite nice. Should be fabulous under the suit in a fall or winter DE event. The Kids T's are Beeft T's and come in sizes XL to XS. Start 'em early I say. Here is the catch: For what I have invested in this project I could have had John Walker rebuild my transmission (which is needed). With that in mind along with the fact that I have not sold out the original batch of shirts, I am sure you understand that I did not have many of these new shirts made. I only have TWO of each available! . So, if you would like to obtain any of these, before you place a PayPal order or send me a check, email me first to make sure I have what you want. If I do, I will then place a hold on those shirts while the payment is made. The orders will be taken on a first come-first served basis. The prices, pictures (soon) and my email address can be found at http://carlton5.home.mindspring.com. The site also has an updated tally of what I have left of the short sleeve shirts.

Gary, I really appreciate you doing this and I love my shirts. That being said I would not mind if you upped the price a bit to help pay for your trouble so you could produce more of the mocks and maybe some black T’s?
If Gary is willing, is anyone else out there willing to pay a couple more dollars for the Plot?

I made the mistake of dragging my feet. I don' t have shirts. So, I e-mailed Gary. My guess is that I missed out on a medium tee. Yes, I'd be more than happy to pay a price in excess of $8 per, for at least 2 or 3 tees. More than happy. And I want at least one longsleeve too. So, I say let's pick up the ball that Gary has been carrying. He did a surprizing and terrific thing. The shirts are as handsome as I could possibly imagine. Let's go, if he's willing to coordinate this with the shirt maker.

I would also be willing to pay in advance if that would help. I don’t want to be responsible for taking any funds away from his transmission!

I am willing and happy to do as the masses wish. To a point.
The reservation is that when we first started this, we asked folks to indicate what they wanted so I could tally things up and make and appropritate order. What happened is I ran out of one size shirt immediately because no one indicated they wanted that size but a bunch were ordered. At the same time I have almost a dozen mediums sitting around because the folks that said they wanted them have not bought them. If I get firm commitments everything is peachy. While I appreciate the gesture, I really don't want to get into a profit making mode on this. It brings up all sorts of tax issues when it is only meant as a cool thing to do for the group.

I've been bogged down here at work and haven't yet ordered my T either. I'll get payment off to you ASAP.

Well, Gary has accepted my order and I'll be sending him a check tonight. I'm happy. But I also think these things are so cool that, as long as Gary is willing to deal with the vendor, I would like to see us do more business. I mean, how are we going to dominate the world if tees are not available. And hats.
As far as profiteering goes, perhaps we could designate the excess funds go toward the goal of improving the lives of handsome black canines. And their handlers. Or maybe interest is dwindling. I just think those darned shirts are very, very cool. Heck, if non-SC owners were more energetic, they might even attempt to persuade Gary to traffic in their subversive messages.

I am open to doing other logos etc for other groups. Really quite shameless actually. It is one of those weird things that I really don't think of projects like this as work. In fact the majority of T-shirts and jackets that I have own now have logos that I have done for different departments at work or boats that I race on.
Princeton, thanks for catching that error.

I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of a new logo, but if indeed I detect a bushy moustache and a silk jacket on the driver that is the look I am going for personally.
