Pelican Porsches at Gingerman (Michigan) next week?
Gang,
Being as that the racecar is down for the year I still have a longing for some speed. Gingerman Raceway in South Haven Michigan has open track from 5:30-Dark Tues through Thursday. Would anyone be interested in joining me Wed or Thurs for some open track fun? I'd like to take the 930 out for a while just to tool around... Gingerman is a very safe track with lots of runoff, great drivers track. I think the cost is about $50 and you should get 2-3 hours of good running time! Whattya say? Who's with me?

Let me ask the wife if her and the kids would want to make a run to Michigan. I will let you know. I work with a guy that has a 928 that may tag along. He's a Pelican himself...AKA "Forgman"

Scheisse! Chris, if I lived even FIVE hours closer I would be there. A dear friend of mine is a CGI/NSX instructor there, has like four thousand miles on G-man, I would LOVE to shake out the 911E to see what it could do, work on setup, and drink many, many dark beers! But I will have to vicariously enjoy, alas!
JFC p.s. The only engine in a race car I ever blew was in G-Man turn III. Nothing like coasting to a stop in the "kink" with smoke in the cabin! p.p.s. Knock on wood (like my skull!)

Just read your post on Gingerman....this weekend the Alfa club has it rented on Saturday and Speed Trials on Sunday. A few of us are doing both. Rey may even make it with his "RS" on sunday. If interested drop an email and I'll get you the information. Nice track for the last event of the season.

I know, I know... Gotta get all the toys done and in now!  Haven't started aquiring yet... Pretty much settled on a build sheet and costs though... Still have to split the case. I have an impact gun now, but not the flywheel bolt socket... I will probably buy the P&C's in a week or two, Andial has them and I don't want them to be a bottleneck. Then, off to the machinists... I ned to do some due dilligence to select which one though.
