930 Wheel Wheel Spacer Question
The 28mm (930 Wheel Spacers that I have do not seat on the surface of the rear hubs; they sit on a 3.452" OD register that is .215" above the face of the hub; is this normal or do the spacers have to be machined so that they sit flat on the face of the hub?

They need to seat on the surface of the hub just like a wheel would.

Machine them so they will fit flush.
Do not drive the car unless they are flush. The machining process will not harm the spacers, if anything, it will help by reducing unsprung weight ![]() Bill K

They are supposed to be "hub centric"......they were either replaced cheapo replacements or installed upside down if they are not flush with the hub.

Thanks for the feedback, I think that they may be front spacers.I'll get them machined with the appropriate step which will be outside the normal radius and have a set custom made if the wheel positioning is OK FOR THE 10 X 17 RUF rear wheels that i'm using.
