ssi's on a 1975 911S 2.7 HP gain/oil lines
What hp gain can i expect if i upgrade the stock 2.7 exhaust to SSI's?
the engine is CIS and mostly stock. The car has a carerra front fender mounted oil cooler and i was wondering if i need any additional or different oil lines with the SSI's?

10 BHP difference between the '74 & later 2.7's, all due to differences in the HE's and mufflers.

I just replace the stock HX and exhaust on my '76 911S 2.7 with SSIs and a '74 2-in-1-out muffler. I haven't dyno'd the car, but the car definitely has more pep! I've read up to a 15 HP pick-up but someone like Steve at Rennsport Systems is more qualified to comment than I.

10 hp is pretty good
10 hp on a 165 hp car is pretty good boost.
