7-31 R&P for a 915

Hello everyone. I have this ring and pinion. It is a 7-31. Can anyone tell me if it is for a 915 or a 901?
Thanks
John

901. If you look on the parts closely there should be 11 digit part numbers and a pro date (2 digit month and 2 digit year with a logo between them).

I will look for those numbers. But this looks like a 901 R&P?
Thanks
John

John,

If Matt Monson says it is a 901 part, and he did, it is a 901 part.....

I can see what you are talking about. The date is 8 69. Aug 1969.
Also I see the difference in the threaded end of the pinion shaft, and note the roller bearing.
Thanks for the help guys.
John
