Help putting together a 902/1 Clutch assembly
Hi Everyone, First time post, so go easy!
I Searched the forum but couldn't find the answer. I Recently rebuilt a 902/1 trans that came without the needed clutch release parts. As a result, i have been trying to gather together whats needed. Its a 66 5 speed trans. I Bought a lever, p/n 901.116.712.00 and genuine M8 (i think) ball-pivot from Porsche. I Also bought a sachs release bearing and the bearing pads. Bolting it together, it doesnt seem to work. The Dimple in the back of the clutch fork/arm appears to be too far outward to mate with the ball pivot. The Bolt hole is to the side of the ball-cup and the ball cup is basically as close to the bearing-end of the fork as possible. I Noticed online that there are some release arms where the cup appears further out and the arm is definitely not one of those. I Have seen online however a different arm, which has the bolt hold for the retaining clip outward of the cup hole. p/n 901.116.711. Is this the one i need? Everything else seems to marry up from a part number perspective.... I could really do with knowing before throwing loads more money on the wrong parts! Thanks in advance for your help |

I had a similar issue that was resolved with the 901.116.711 arm.
