Actual temps on oil temop gauge?
I know there was a thread on this, but couldn't find it... What are the temps (F or C) for the marks on the oil temp gauges? 82 930 if it matters...

Take a flashlight and look into the oil temp guage on the left side, there are numbers there. You might have to get a side view of it, but they are there

I tried... Can't read 'em...
Oops, never mind, I was looking at the inside, not the outside. Got 'em...

Guys:
I may have posted this before somwhere. For the gauge style that has a lower white block, followed by a white line at 8 o'clock , a white line at 10 o'clock and a red block at 11 o'clock: reading "up" - lower whiite block...60 degC ( 148 degF) - white line......... 90 degC ( 194 degF) - next up white line...120 degC( 248 degF) - bottom of red block..150 degC ( 302 degF) To aid in visualization...this can be approximated by 150/200/250/300 degF !! No need for numerical gauges ! --Wil Ferch ![]() |
