Early Car Heater Question

I have known for a while that the heater was not blowing hot air on the passenger side of the car. Going through the summer, this was obviously not a problem. But now that fall is here and that the MRS enjoys riding with me, I thought I would work on it.

For what ever reason, I had assumed that the problem was with the flapper box. Much to my surprise this afternoon, it seems to be opening and closing properly.

I then moved to the front of the car. When the dash lever with the red knob is moved, I can see it operating on the driver side of the air control unit, but I don't see anything happening on the passenger side. I also don't see any place for a cable on the passenger side if there is susposed to be one.

Any ideas on what may (or may not) be going on here?

Thanks.

I think the pass side should be hooked by cables to the drivers side which is hooked to the controls. they just look like left and right hand units. There must be something hooked to your pass side front valve.?

BTW I live in Chicago area and I get no air, I suppose I need to fix that huh
