Here's a few vintage 906 photos I came across recently:

Thumbs up

Wow Curt. You seem to be relentlessly searching out new pictures of these cars. I love it! When do you ever work???

So -- Has anyone on this BBS ever driven a 906/907/908/910 or even a 917??? If you have, what's it like? Whenever I've seen pictures of 906's in mid-turn, they always seem to be pushing.

Here's an example. Check out how much steering lock has been put into it.

And the front end is still wide of where the rear end is tracking.

It doesn't take long if you know where to look! I love that Martini-liveried 906. -- Curt

OK Curt -- you've inspired me to try to find some 906 info/pictures on the web that you haven't. To be honest, there really isn't a lot. But I did come across these two interesting pictures.

Check out this paint scheme:

And while this is not a Carrera 6, you have got to love the way this guy is leaning on that left rear tire. BTW - it is a 906, but not a Carrera 6.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about either car, but judging by the language on the web site, they were raced in S. America.

Wow! Now those are obscure Porsche photos! Maybe good for a tough trivia question. -- Curt

I don't think I can top John's Venezuela 906!, but here's a few more while we're on the subject:
