Affordable 17" Wheels?

I recently ordered a set of 17x7 and 17x9 Euromeister wheels (for SC/Carrera flare fitment), but unfortunately the order could not be completed as they were reported to be discontinued. I'm not wedded to the Fuchs look in any way - they were just a very good solution for an affordable set of street wheels in a size I like and which has good tire options (the other Fuchs clone made by Rota came in at around double the price and they are actually heavier).

So are there any other 17" wheel options that are not extremely expensive? It seems that you either have the $700/set Euromeisters at one end of the price spectrum, and then everything else is a $700/wheel modular wheel (Jongbloed/CCW/Fikse/Kodiak). I understand that our 5x130 PCD marginalizes us, but is there not a market for a single-piece construction 17" wheel (either a Fuchs clone or a more modern design)?

I will keep scouring the classifieds...

After looking at several cars i liked the way the 15 looked and am looking for a set.

WOW! When did this happen? Was there a problem or issue of some type? I was planning on grabbing a set in the near future.

You might not know that we just introduced our 17" version of our respected BRAID BZ range. These are currently only available for the Turbo and Turbo-look cars but next on the agenda is to develop them for the SC/Carrera bodied cars.

Will be around $4000 a set but you get what you pay for IMHO and others. Our three piece wheels are somewhat less spendy though. You can order through Pelican though they are not listed.

Yikes! My brother isn't going to be happy about this at all. He wants to order some 17's for his ride.

You'd think they might take a moment and pull them from their website??

Les Paul,
When did you order/receive them?
I only ask because it seems odd one supplier would say they are dc'd while another is still selling them. Maybe Pelican has them warehoused where others are relying on the manufacturer or supplier?

Shameless plug but I'm selling my 3 piece SSR's for cheap You can easily swap one pair of lips out if you want to make them wider. That, and they're not replica wheels either.

Okay, those were the Rota wheels. Looks like they run almost 800 more than the Euromeister Fuchs replica.
