It's Finally Done

Bare metal, glass out, new headliner and all new seals. Only a bit over a year and lots of $ but it looks pretty damn good to me. Unfortunately, a short drive to top it and off to storage for the winter.

It might be worthwhile to tell which shop did the work if you feel comfortable saying.

Others in your area may want to use them.

Took 55 weeks and about $14,500 when was said and done with odds and ends. It was done by Auto Body Specialists in Rockford, IL. Fantastic shop and they got really busy with crash and, then, hail damage. I was not in a hurry as I picked up a 2000 Boxter with under 40K to scratch my addiction. I will flip it next spring. One thing I learned as a purchasing guy is that rushing leads to errors and rework.

Happy as can be with the result and am eagerly awaiting spring and the first rock chip!

If only your camera skills were as good as your paint job.
