Where do headliner tension clips go?

Hi,

I bought a set of headliner tension clips, a headliner and window seals. Currently the headliner is installed and the windshield is next. Looking for the seals, I came across the clips. I do not remember removing any clips so I am puzzled where they are supposed to go? Part # PEL-911-HL-04. The car is a 79 SC. This is what you get when it takes you 4 years to start putting the car back together.

Thanks,
Paul

If you have a sunroof there are small clips that hold the headliner material to the back? edge where the sunroof material folds over the edge.

I might still have a pic of them

As far as I remember, 5 black ones to on the back, evenly spaced. The silver ones do the same on the front. Here is a pic of the front spacing I used.

Thanks. I have a coupe, so I guess I don't need them.
